Our story began in 1992 with the Akkuş Bakery established in the food sector. Since 1997, we have carried our activities to the construction sector with Akkuş Construction and successfully completed over 3,000 qualified housing projects.
In 2016, we carried our experience gained in the construction sector into the industrial field with an innovative and environmentalist perspective. We launched the Ege Gazbeton brand with our first facility established on an area of 100,000 m² in Aydın / Söke.
Afterwards, we expanded our production capacity by acquiring the aerated concrete factory established on 52,000 m² in İzmir.
With our integrated production chain established in 2022, we have made sustainability in quality our production standard.
We acquired Çimstone, a global brand in the quartz-based composite stone industry, in 2022. As of 2025, we are proud to bring the most advanced technology production line, of which there are only 3 in the world, to Turkey.
Combining our industrial power with energy, we took our place as a strong and strategic player in the energy sector with our field holding a reserve capacity of 40 million tons in Kütahya Tunçbilek.
Ege Gazbeton has become a preferred brand across a wide geography spanning from European Union countries to the Middle East, Turkic Republics, Northern Europe, South Africa, and New Zealand.
Under the umbrella of Akkuş İnşaat, we reinforce our strength in the global market with Çimstone, a world brand in quartz surfaces and composite stone production. We build the future not only in construction materials but also in the energy sector with our sustainable energy investments, Ege Taş Kömür, and our strategically important dam projects. With exports to more than 20 countries and our multi-faceted production network, we both add value to the national economy and strengthen our leading position in the sector on a global scale.
As Akkuş Group, we resolutely expand our portfolio with real estate investments developed in strategic locations across Türkiye, particularly in Istanbul Beşiktaş, Bursa Karacabey, Kuşadası Soğucak, and İzmir Menderes. With our 5-star hotel investment in Kuşadası under our prestigious tourism brand, Ege Deluxe, we aim to achieve a strong and privileged position in the sector.
